11/25/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved QMHPA greeted Ms. Broadnax upon arrival to the home setting. Upon arrival to the home setting, Ms. Broadnax appeared to be in a positive mood evident by her facial expressions such as a smile on the face. QMHPA engaged Ms. Broadnax in a discussion to determine how her morning was going. Ms. Broadnax verbalized to QMHPA that her morning was going well. QMHPA explained to Ms. Broadnax that this session was going to focus on budgeting. Ms. Broadnax did not present any symptoms of SI or HI at the time of the session being conducted. QMHPA began the session by inquiring about Ms. Broadnaxâs current thoughts, feelings and emotions. QMHPA engaged Ms. Broadnax in a discussion surrounding her medication management. QMHPA reviewed interventions from the previous session and began exploring with Ms. Broadnax her current finances. QMHPA engaged Ms. Broadnax throughout the session through the use of active listening, asking open-ended questions and providing empathetic responses. QMHPA explored with Ms. Broadnax budgeting and adjusting her budget to include the addition of her boyfriendâs son coming to the home and staying for a while. QMHPA encouraged Ms. Broadnax to engage in a positive activity or to interact with others throughout the day to increase her productivity and to increase her income. QMHPA utilized reframing throughout the session and encouraged Ms. Broadnax to recognize the impact of her spending habits on her budget. Ms. Broadnax appeared to be receptive to QMHPAsâ interventions and services that were provided to her during the session. Ms. Broadnax discussed with QMHPA that she was consistent with her medication management and discussed with QMHPA that mental health skill building services was assisting her with managing her moods, finances and physical health. While exploring budgeting, Ms. Broadnax shared that she likes the fact that she does not have to provide for everything in the home because there is extra help, but at the same time she has to hear it from two men in the house. She also verbalized to QMHPA the challenges of been the only female in the home which leaves a lot of responsibility on her.
